Yea, well if you were in California I doubt you’d be glued to a computer screen very much either.

At any rate, the cross country road trip was a huge success (no breakdowns, never ran out of gas, Tom didn’t die of dysentery) and we made it all the way to LA!

Stops included an awesome time in Austin, TX with Taylor Weldon (soft goods designer extraordinaire) and a stint in Phoenix, AZ with big Brad “Hungry like the Wolf” Wolford. Austin was boozin’ on a Thursday with the streets closed down (a la Bourbon Street) and swimming in a huge caved in… cave. Phoenix included a lazy river tubing trip enjoying adult beverages and sharing our drinks with the more than friendly Phoenix folk.

California has been great so far, Los Angeles is gorgeous and we haven’t had a cloudy day yet. We spent the 4th of July hanging out on Hermosa beach frequenting a few beach house parties, enjoying the sun, and tossing the old pigskin around.

I’m currently in San Diego on the job-search tip, working with a few recruiters from Aquent to find the perfect web / graphic design gig. It was a gamble, but it all seems to be paying off in a big way. Back to my pint…
